Good-bye Amanda...

For me, there is nothing more enjoyable than hanging out with my friends from high school which I have known forever. It's freeing spending time with them because they know me, they know my past, they know my family, they know and understand my personality. This week some of us were able to go to dinner at La Grande Orange and get caught up. However, the thing that brought us all together is that Amanda is moving to San Francisco. :( We had a long evening of sharing what is going on in our lives. Suzanne is engaged and we were able to hear a lot of the exciting details of her wedding on October 11. Fallon has the cutest baby boy, Branson, and she shared the joys of having a child. And Amanda shared her excitement of her new adventures ahead. It was really encouraging to hear how Amanda is being challenged in her walk with God. Amanda has really made an impact here in Phoenix through the many friendships she has and the many people she has met along the way, especially in her connections and involvement in Young Life. She has also had some great mentors in her life and she was able to share with each of them how powerful they have been and how they inspire Amanda for who she wants to become. Well...Amanda's bags are packed and she is ready for whatever comes her way. I am going to miss the fact that we used to live in the same city, but she already has several trips to AZ planned in the next few months. I know that our friendship will continue on, I mean we have been best friends since 6th grade...what could beat that? I can't wait to hear about the adventure she has in front of her. I will miss you, Amanda!!!

I really enjoy reading your blog, Sarah. :) Paisley is adorable. Hope you and Aaron are doing great. Seth and I are starting to plan our trip to come to Arizona for a visit. We'll be in touch soon. :)

That is sad that Amanda is moving! I know you will miss her. I loved the picture of all of you! What a beautiful group. And how fun to do tea at the Phoenician. We did that once. It is soo much fun to be so girly.

Talk to you soon,
Steph
