Afternoon Tea

On Wednesay, Jana Bannister organized an afternoon tea at the Phoenician for the girls. It was me and my mom, Jana and her daughter-in-law, Megan, and Danielle Chandler. We started the afternoon by each picking our own flavor of tea. (By the way I was wired the whole evening because of all tea I drank...) Then we had a variety of very yummy tea sandwiches. They offered us two servings of those and we of course did not turn that second helping away. :) Then we had scones, something you coudn't not have when it comes to tea. After that Megan and Danielle had a special birthday dessert and got to blow out the candle together. The pianist in the background was playing Happy Birthday as they brought the dessert out to the table. The final course was a selection of many, many desserts which were all delicious. We had a really relaxing 3 hour tea. We chatted and got caught up on each other's lives. It was a fun, girlie, and unique thing to do because we don't get to go to tea very often. Thank you to Jana for organizing it and for inviting me and my mom along. We will have to do it again sometime soon.

Ashley Zehring was our server for some of the afternoon! It was so fun to see her...she did a great job and she hooked us up with some extra desserts to go! I know this picture is a little blurry (my camera was acting funny) but I just had to put in this picture of beautiful Ashley.
