Easter

We had a great Easter Sunday with family and friends. We started the day by going to church. We sang a song that was very simple but sort of summed up the whole meaning of what Easter is really about: "Oh happy day, happy day that Jesus washed my sins away, oh happy day, happy day He washed my sins away..." We find it amazing how easily we can lose sight of the magnitude of what occurred on this day some 2000 years ago. We are so thankful for the cross! After church we went to my parent's house for a delicious lunch. Here are some pictures from the afternoon. We were sad that Aunt Beth wasn't able to make it...her plane flight got canceled because of 15 inches of snow in Michigan. :(
