Tour de Bed and Breakfast's

Our five year anniversary vacation was fabulous! I wish it could have been longer though. We were away from May 15-20 on what we called the "Tour de Bed and Breakfast's". Our first stop was Sedona. We stayed at a B & B called Adobe Hacienda. It is owned by my friends parents and it was amazing. I would highly recommend it for a weekend getaway to Sedona. Outstanding breakfast and great views! We stayed in the Sedona Room which was well equipped with a kind size bed and a jacuzzi tub. We really wanted this time away to be relaxing so we did not have much planned. We walked around Sedona and went out to eat. Saturday morning we had a couples massage in our room which was a new experience for us.

The next stop was San Diego. We took the back roads to California which took longer but it was worth not having to drive back through Phoenix. We stayed at Becky and David's condo while we were there. Their condo is also known as the "Hammond Bed and Breakfast". Becky and David were out of town while we were there so they made it really special for us. They even got us a gift certificate to a breakfast place right down the street from their condo. While in San Diego we took a walk, shopped at the Pink Zone (a store where I could find some really inexpensive clothes that fit my growing belly), and we even experienced the after shocks of an earthquake. That was crazy! The Hammond Bed and Breakfast was comfy and cozy and we would definitely stay there again. :)

Our final stop was La Jolla, CA. We stayed at the Bed and Breakfast Inn at La Jolla in a room called the Peacock Salon. The first thing we did when we arrived was take a stroll on the beach and then it was time to get ready for maternity pictures with Ashley. We were then able to go out to eat at Claim Jumper with Ashley and her husband Dan and her son Calvin. We got to catch up and hear about how great it is to have a little boy. The next couple in La Jolla were spent walking around, napping, and going out to eat. It was relaxing and I did not want to go home!
