San Diego with Brett and Kristin

Last weekend we went to San Diego with our good friends Brett and Kristin. They are getting married on November 18! Yea! We had a such a fun weekend. Becky was out of town so she was so kind and let us stay at her place in downtown San Diego. We arrived late Friday night. On Saturday we went to breakfast at the Mission, a restaurant within walking distance from the condo. Then since we were so full we walked to Seaport Village and spent some time there looking in all the shops. After that we took a ferry over to Coronado Island where we rented a surri. We let Aaron be in control of the wheel which was quite exciting at times to put it nicely. Just kidding, Aaron, you did a great job! Next, we went to Cold Stone and got some ice cream before catching the ferry back to San Diego. That evening we went to eat at Bucca di Beppo and browsed around some stores on the Gaslamp. On Sunday morning we drove to Mission Beach to a breakfast place called the Wavehouse and ate right next to the beach. We watched the surfers on the "mechanical" wave, did a little bit more shopping and then headed home. It was a fun weekend with great conversation and great friends. We can't wait to go on vacation with you two again!
