Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was unique this year. My parents were in Michigan so we decided to host Thanksgiving at our house. Becky and David traveled from San Diego to help. Becky did the menu planning and made grocery lists for us both. She was a big help and is a great cook! We made the Turkey, Stuffing, Sweet Potatoes and Mashed Potatoes and the rest was potluck. For our first Thanksgiving to actually make a majority of the food I think we pulled it off quite well. We had 16 adults, 2 kids and 2 babies attend. After we ate our big meal we all went on a walk around our neighborhood. The day and the weekend were great fun! I want to give a BIG thank you to Becky and David for all the work they did!

Here is the 19 lb turkey that David "bathed"

Here it is! It looked just like it does in the magazines!
